Jessie is the founder and director of Denver Mind Body Essence. She is a graduate of The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has a Master's in Acupuncture. She is Colorado licensed, Nationally Certified through NCCAOM, and certified in Clean Needle Technique. She also has been a practicing Reiki practitioner since 2014.
Jessie has succesufully treated a variety of conditions using acupuncture and other modalities. She has a gentle but effective touch, that is both relaxing and relieving. Jessie especially is passionate about working with all pain, digestive and insomnia issues. But is also very drawn to emotional disorders and how they present physically in our bodies.
Jessie has a passion for helping others heal and be the best versions of themselves. She believes that health is something that should be at the forefront of our lives. Jessie was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine beacuse of the way it can put the body back into homeostasis, and ease lifes aches and pains; emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Growing up in a Western medical family, health was only a concern when you were sick, but Jessie like many others have learned that preventive medicine such as acupuncture, helps to make it so you can be truly healthy inside and out. Health as defined by the World Health Organization is a state of optimum physical, mental, and social well being and not merely the absence of disease.
